Sunnyvale Men's Golf Club

This is the website for the Sunnyvale Men's Golf Club. Although our home course is Sunnyvale Municipal Golf Course in Sunnyvale, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley, we travel extensively playing literally dozens of different courses throughout the year. The Sunnyvale Men's Golf Club is for all ages of men in the Santa Clara County area and beyond.

We play almost every Saturday at many of the great golf courses in Northern California and even Nevada.

7/24/10:	Congratulations to Ben Magana who got a hole-in-one on the 157-yard 8th hole at Palo Alto Golf Course on Wednesday, July 21. His 6-iron was perfect and the ball found the bottom of the cup. Way to go, Ben!
5/8/10:	The ace train continues. Ed Biaggi aced the 14th hole at the club event at Manteca Park Golf Course today. He flew his 7-iron to the 164 yard pin and spun it back for a beautiful hole-in-one. Congratulations, Ed!
3/6/10:	Congratulations to Larry Lopez who got a rare double-eagle (an albotross) on the 9th hole at Los Lagos on February 27th. He holed in a 5-wood from 211 yards to get a nice 2 on the par-5. Way to go!
12/08/09:	Congratulations to Jay Kearney who aced the 155-yard 14th hole at Boulder Ridge Golf Club with a 7-iron on December 5th. The shot bounced on the left side of the hole and then rolled in. Nice swing there, Jay!
09/02/09:	Congratulations to Barry Franklin, who got a hole-in-one at an SMGC club event at Pacific Grove Golf Links on Saturday, August 29th. He aced the 10th hole. Way to start the back nine with a bang, Barry!

Club Information

General Membership Meetings are held at least five times a year at the Lookout Inn at the Sunnyvale Golf Course. Check this website for updates on the date and time for the next meeting.

Get the current Player of the Year standings so you'll always know what you need to do in order to take top honors for 2008. Also, get a description of how Player of the Year points work.

Please use the tournament hotline (408-739-9281) to find out the status of tournaments. On the day of the tournament, don't call the tournament director or check the website!
